The 40th World-Class English Speaking Universities Debating Championships hosted by Assumption University was officially kicked off on December 28, 2019 at Suvarnabhumi Campus. A very impressive and friendly Welcome Dinner at the elegant Thai Pavilion area fronting the magnificently towering Cathedral of Learning building was organized to warmly welcome more than 1100 candidates (participants & team members) representing more than 260 institutions as well as officials, organizers , judges, distinguished guests, and council members, etc. from about 50 countries around the globe.
