The 40th World Universities Debating Championships 2020 being hosted at Assumption University' s grand and spacious Suvarnabhumi Campus, has been on-going and fully functioning for the second day. With His Majesty the King' s enviable trophy up for grab for the emerging, well-deserved Winners "Worlds Champions," international participating student teams worldwide are excitedly exerting their utmost articulating, communicative skills and abilities to sail through the preliminary rounds. Coming from diverse backgrounds and cultures, this English speaking debating tournaments with the duration of 10 days of their being together (December 27 to January 4, 2020), such debating contest provides them the very rare platforms or stages to exchange ideas, knowledge, experiences and differences, thus leading to deeper cultural appreciation and understanding. The extraordinarily welcoming and impressive "Cultural Night" hosted in the evening of December 29, with a feast; featuring an amazing & mouth-watering arrays of international cuisines: Thai, Chinese, Japanese and European great culinary treats, while participants were fascinatingly delighted by colorful Thai cultural dances, shows and entertaining music performed by the AU Classical Dance and Music Clubs. It is indeed a great chance for students all over the world to relax, strengthening bonds of friendships, having enjoyable night, mingling and getting acquainted, and finally joining in the Thai basic dance styles.
